BTUSA kicked off its 5th season of pro and amateur competition this weekend at The Tampa
Bay Open in Clearwater, FL, with a robust turnout of both seasoned beach tennis players and first timers. As expected, this
BTUSA event was as much of a party as it was a tournament—featuring product sampling by Celcius Energy Drink, apparel
courtesy of Freaky Tiki Surf Shack, and performances by BTUSA’s resident entertainer SPECIAL, who performed his song
“Hooray Beach Tennis USA” before the Men’s Pro division finals. The national tour is growing in events and popularity and will culminate with the end of season
National Championship in Long Beach, NY on Labor Day Weekend. Tri-State Beach Tennis, an official
Beach Tennis USA licensee, will be staging a tour of multiple Amateur & Professional Prize Money Tournaments in the local
area leading up to the Long Beach Nationals. In addition to the Tri-State BT “tour”, we will
organize local leagues, lesson clinics, special events, exhibitions and other promotional events at local clubs and municipalities.
Our goal is to put Beach Tennis on the map in the Tri-State area. The X-Games of TENNIS is here

Putting together
our Tri-State tour has been and will continue to be a challenging yet rewarding process. The sport is growing
in popularity and is getting national exposure through the media, both print and television. Its appeal
is in the ease of play, the aerobic benefits and most of all, the natural surroundings. To get involved
